3D genome dynamics in differentiation and pathology
3D genome dynamics in differentiation and pathology
Our primary focus is on understanding the molecular mechanisms responsible for gene expression regulation through enhancer-promoter interactions and the 3D genome architecture, whose dysregulation leads to various pathologies. We strongly believe that modern biological questions can only be addressed through multidisciplinary approaches. Indeed, we employ a multidisciplinary approach to obtain a quantitative and mechanistic understanding of chromatin dynamics and engineer these mechanisms for clinical applications.Â
The lab opens in June 2025 at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-Tiget), Milan, Italy.
